Itinerary for Bangladesh Photo Tour-2022
DAY1-DHAKA
Leaving hotel 71 at 6.00 am and heading to Sadarghat. Sunrise over the river then crossing the river to the shipyards. Back to the hotel around 10 am, break and lunch at 12.30 in the hotel followed by photo review. In the afternoon, visiting Karwan Bazar and its vegetable market, later we shall be taking a short walk on the railway tracks with the people living around it. Overnight in Dhaka
DAY2-DHAKA
Leaving at 7 am to explore the riverside where people unload coals, sands, bricks, etc. from boats. Later we continue to brick factories near to dump yard. Return to hotel for lunch. In the afternoon, you shall be invited for a street walk. Overnight in Dhaka
DAY3-DHAKA-BOGRA
Early in the morning, we shall leave Dhaka for Bogra. We will make several stops at the riverside, wetlands areas, weavers village, paddy fields, and rural markets. You shall arrive in Bogra sometime in the afternoon. Dinner will be arranged at a local restaurant. Overnight in Bogra
DAY4-BOGRA
7 am breakfast in the hotel and 7.30 am leaving for the vegetable market. At 10 am head to Sariakandi and the Brahmaputra riverside to spend the afternoon on a boat/walking on the rural river island. Dinner will be arranged at a local restaurant in Bogra town. Overnight in Bogra.
DAY5-BOGRA-DINAJPUR
Driving to Dinajpur (over 3 hours) with a stop en route. Street walk and photo review in the afternoon. Overnight in Dinajpur
DAY6-DINAJPUR
On this day, we shall be exploring rural areas including, markets, paddy fields, riverside, rice processing plants, brick factories, etc. Dinner will be arranged at a local restaurant. Overnight in Dinajpur
DAY7-DINAJPUR-SYLHET
After an early breakfast, you will drive about 30 minutes to Saidpur airport to catch the flight to Sylhet via Dhaka. Overnight in Sylhet
DAY8-SYLHTE
Early in the morning driving to Srimangal to explore the tea plantations areas. We shall also make several stops en route including at wetlands areas, brick factories, and tribal villages. We shall return to Sylhet sometime in the afternoon. Dinner will be arranged at a local restaurant. Overnight in Sylhet
DAY9-SYLHET
Early in the morning, we shall explore the vegetable market. Later, we shall drive to Lalakhal to capture stone and sand collection activities in and around the Shari River. If time permits we will also visit the Ratargul Swamp forest area in the afternoon light. Dinner will be arranged at a local restaurant. Overnight in Sylhet.
DAY10-SYLHET-DHAKA
Sylhet fish market and surrounding streets. Leaving the hotel at 12.00 to catch the flight to Dhaka
