Bangladesh National Parliament Building Complex Visiting Tips

National Assembly Building of Bangladesh is located at Sher-E-Bangla Nagar in Dhaka. It is considered as one of the best architecture in 20th century. This  masterpiece was designed by famous American architect Louis Khan .The construction work was began in 1964. But, the work was stopped during the liberation war in 1971. The newly formed government of Bangladesh start the work again after the independence and finished it in 1982. The building stands on one pillar and nine individual blocks. The total areas of this complex is about 200 acres.

You can take a short trip there, we recommend you to visit the north and south parts of the building as those parts are the most spectacular. Nonetheless, you also can visit the interior for an unique experience of this mysterious building. Certainly, it is relatively easier for the foreign tourists to get the permission.

Visiting hours of National Parliament Building Complex of Bangladesh

Sunday to Thursday (11 am to 4 Pm)

Entrance fees- BDT. 500.00 for each foreign national

Documents required:

Firstly, you need the photocopy of your passport. Additionally, you will be needed to fill up an application form for the visit.

However, we recommend you to communicate with the concern authority or any tour operator prior for a smooth visit.
